Plot: Set in a family restaurant in Hokkaido, the northern prefecture of Japan, 16 year old high school student Takanashi Souta works part-time along with his strange co-workers: Taneshima Popura, a high school girl who’s a year older than Souta who’s easily mistaken for a elementary/middle schooler, and Shirafuji Kyoko the 28-year old store manager who doesn’t bother to do any work at all.

Review: the one thing i can say about this show, is it’s hilarious. lol this is one of those shows that’s just enjoyable and fun to watch. it doesn’t have to have hardcore baddassery, or a bunch of moe to make it stand out. this used to be a comic strip and a manga before they released the anime version and it did get pretty good reviews in the manga form. My one pet peeve about this show is one of the main characters, Taneshima-san a.k.a the little girl. Her hair drives me nutz. WHO HAS HAIR THAT STICK OUT THAT FAR ON THE SIDE!? okay, well anyways, some people also think the repeated pounding the main character takes due to this other girls man-phobia gets repetitive. personally, i think it’s pretty funny even now, so to each his own i guess. with that said, this is a really funny and enjoyable show! oh also, the opening is addicting as all hell, BEWARE! i’ll give it an 8.5/10! hajimenasai yo!

Plot: Junpei Kōsaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizō-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family’s own ill-tempered cat, Nyamusasu. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into cat himself.

Review: this show actually came out in the Fall of 2009. but, only being 12 episodes long the show is pretty short. the one gripe i have for sure is that this show felt kind of rushed right at the end. it takes them a good 6 episodes or so to fully introduce all of the characters before the story really gets anywhere. but, that being said, this was kind of entertaining because the plot is a little different than most. i.e, getting cursed by a cat. lol i watched all 12 episodes in a few days so it’s pretty enjoyable if you have some time to kill and could use some good laughs. i wouldn’t put it up there with some of my other shows, but it’s not bad at the same time. overall i’d give this one a 7/10 but it is worth checking out!

Plot Summary: In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the other hand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers.

Review: so far there’s only 6 out of 13 episodes released and i’m loving every single one of them! this is one of those shows that leaves alot unanswered but n a good way, sort of like Darker than Black or Death Note. another plus is this show has a tyrannical female leader who’s almost Haruhi-like. she’s a little bit more kind than haruhi and for the most part doesn’t make time endlessly loop thankfully.

another thing about this show that jumped out at me is the animation! holy crap is it ever good. when i first saw the trailer I thought it was a movie. Key’s really does top notch animation. this is also the same company that did the anime Clannad, Air, and Caanan. there’s also a few pieces from each show hidden throughout as well. for example in the first episode one of the character runs up a chain-combo of 100 hits on the main character similar to what tomoyo does to sunohara. anyways, so far i highly recommend watch this show! it’s just sad there’s only 13 episodes:( hopefully there’ll be a second season if it gains more popularity.

the final thing i like about this show are the mini rock concerts put on by a band in the show called Girls Dead Monster or Girl’s DeMo for short. i’ll have a single by them posted shortly so you can see what i’m talking about. well i think i’ve ranted on enough.overall this show has great action, hilarious comedy, and awesome music to boot! now, go watch it!!!

Review: Durarara is definitly one of those shows where you watch the trailer and just go “wait….what?….” i didn’t understand anything really until the 3rd episode or so. but once you start watching it you somehow get hooked and end up liking it. one wierd part about this is the fact that each episode is narrated by a different character in the first few episodes. so it definitly throws you out of wack.

chances are if you watched really wierd and dark types of shows like Darker than Black, Ghost in the Shell, and some other ones. you’ll love this. one thing that actually struck me first is that this is a hilarious show! i thought it to be only serious at first but after seing some screen shots like the ones below i nearly fell on the floor laughing. lol

but, the show only has 10 episodes out right now and it’s out of a total of 24 so it’s really easy to catch up if you haven’t started it yet! so i’d for sure give watching this a shot! lemme know what you guys think about it! oh also you guys can get my posts of the opening single here and ending single here

Plot: Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and she is not interested in much else.

Review: okay so, i heard really good things about this show for a while but never actually watched it. all i knew was that aya hirano( the voice actor for haruhi suzumiya) played the main character with blue hair named Konata. at first i thought the show was boring because the entire first episode was about how people would eat different foods and whatnot, but that’s when i realized. i actually watched the whole thing!! haha even tho the show seems to have no plot really they definately do a good job of making you roll on the floor laughing in tears.also, because Konata and Haruhi both were the same actor they do a couple episodes parodying haruhi, as well as a bunch of other shows. the funny thing about Konata is she’s almost like a guy. eats, sleeps plays video games. that’s about it! haha well this is a guarantee must on your list to watch! the nice thing is it’s not super long either. oh and one last thing, there’s no true ending to this show. it’s usually just a bunch of them singing karaoke at the end. haha well, check it out! and lemme know what you guys think.

Review: well, this show after 3 episodes so far i like it. it’s not tops on my lists but hey, it has aya hirano! haha it’s funny too because if you’ve ever watched the show Haruhi Suzumiya that’s all i think about when the blonde girl played by aya hirano is talking. haha anyways overall the show is good. the plot moves pretty quick in the beg. to get all the character n stuff introduced. the action is meh….. it could be a bit better. but the one thing i like about this show the most is that it’s funny. some other shows you can tell they’re trying to hard to make certain scenes funny, but this show just has it. especially because i also noticed that the blue cat, is the same voice for Kagura in gintama which is hilarious! so ya, i’d definitely check it out if you got time, and it’s on crunchyroll as well so it gets released every monday i believe.

Plot Summary:  Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.

Soul Eater is an anime that centers around meisters and their weapons and their mission to collect 99 evil souls and 1 witch soul. Upon doing that the meister’s weapons will become a Deathscythe, which is the highest title for a weapon. Maka, Soul Eater, Black Star, Tsubaki, Death the Kid, and Patty and Liz Thompson are the characters Soul Eater revolves around. Besides taking the time to gather souls these students of Shibusen defend Death City from some of the most powerful of creatures while still attending school and trying to become stronger.

Review: This is one of those shows i was sort of sketch about at first. just because i hadn’t really heard anything about it. but since i was bored out of my mind at the time i decided to give it a shot. i watched episode 1 and never turned back! this show has it all, great action, even better comedy, and even floating cities! well… that last part prolly won’t make sense till later on but either way this show is for sure worth taking a look! i gave it a 9/10 instead f a 10/10 because to me the ending was kinda lame. i’m hoping and praying that they’ll make a 2nd season because this one was definitely not enough. so ya.. i strongly recommend checkin this show out!

The long awaited sequel is here! The story of Hei and Yin continue in Darker Than Black: Gemini of the Meteor! Terrell and I have been waiting for the continuing series for awhile now and when we heard it was finally coming we couldn’t believe it. The first episode was released already and I caught it on AnimeShippuuden just today. If you don’t remember the story from Darker Than Black, I included a re-cap at the bottom of this post.

Darker Than Black: Gemini of the Meteor

This time the story takes place mainly in Russia, Hei and Yin have been on the move ever since they betrayed the syndicate. While in Russia Hei comes in contact with a young girl, Suou, who becomes trapped in the war that rages on between humans and Contractors. Misaki resigns from the Foreign Affairs in Japan to continue her investigations on Hei…

It hasn’t been made clear exactly what the plot of the story is just yet, but like the first season, we probably won’t know that until farther into the story…like ten episodes farther. Hei is still as intense as ever and I don’t think the battles and story will let us down any, I get the feeling this season is going to be a great one! I’m going to hope its longer than the anticipated sixteen episodes.

Review: Overall this show is amazing! I read reviews that alot of people liked it and said it was similiar to clannad. After getting through 3 episodes i’m amazing. This is basically an exact replica of clannad..err.. actually clannad is a replica of this show since kanon came first. Lol anyways it has alot of those hilarious scenes that made clannad so famous. Another thing i noticed right off the bat was that the main character Yuuichi sounded like somebody. I couldn’t put my finger on it at first but then i realized it was Gintoki from Gintama! After looking it up i relized that the voice actor also did the voices of Kyon from Haruhi Suzumiya, and Tomoya from Clannad. So you can already see why this is a great show. Sure there are a few super corny parts but that’s kinda to be expected from a school drama. Haha eiher way this show is downright cool! It’ll make you laugh the whole time!
